Your session will be scheduled based on current availability. Dates book up quickly, so please be sure to schedule your session ASAP in order to secure your preferred date.
Thank you for purchasing the Groupon Boudoir Session package for True You Boudoir (formerly Seriously Sexy Boudoir)! I’ve come up with a bunch of information to try to help answer your questions before you even ask them! =) If I missed any questions, please feel free to email me using the contact form linked above, email directly (firstname.lastname@example.org) or text/leave me a message at 757.606.0066. Email is very much preferred as I will be able to reply to emails much more quickly than phone calls.
Your Groupon Voucher includes:
- a 60-minute photography session with two outfits (or one outfit and our white sheets) for one beautiful lady
- one high-resolution digital image (ideal for having printed at whatever size you need)
- an in-person, Skype or phone consultation to chat about your session needs, styling advice, etc.
- a Studio Unveiling of your images (25+ images to view and choose from), in-person ordering and order assistance during your Unveiling
- Location: True You Boudoir (formerly Seriously Sexy Boudoir) located at: 129 West Washington Street, Suffolk, VA 23434
- When: sessions scheduled according to availability
- Expires: one year from the purchase date (sessions must take place by this date)
ABOUT THE DEAL
What does the deal include?
This Groupon deal includes a 60-minute session, up to 2 outfits, and one high-resolution digital image (ideal for having printed at whatever size you need). In addition, you'll receive an in-person, Skype or phone consultation, an in-person viewing and ordering of your images and personal order assistance. Also, I'm always only an email away if you have any questions or would like help in styling your shoot (picking out outfits, deciding what would be flattering, etc).
Can I buy multiple deals? Can I buy some as gifts?
You may purchase one deal for yourself and additional deals as gifts. This is a great way to have a fun girls' day with your best friends! Multiple deals may not be combined. Only one deal per person.
What type of session can I use the deal for?
This deal is for boudoir sessions only, which includes bridal boudoir and maternity boudoir.
What can I NOT use this deal for?
This deal can not be used for any other type of photography, including family, children, maternity (except maternity boudoir), engagement, etc or locations other than the True You Boudoir studio.
Can anyone else be photographed with me?
You will be the only person being photographed during your session. I do not offer couples boudoir with this Groupon.
Can I use my deal for multiple services and/or visits?
No, each deal can only be used for one session as listed on the deal.
What about hair and makeup?
Hair and makeup is not included in this deal, though I can send you referrals on stylists I recommend.
ABOUT THE SESSION
Where will the session take place? Your session will take place at my studio in downtown Suffolk.
Are outfits and/or lingerie provided? You will bring your own outfits and lingerie as they are not provided by the studio. I do have a small assortment of jewelry and accessories which can be used.
Who will be there during my session? The only people in the room for your session will be Leila (the photographer), my hair and makeup artist and you, the client. You're welcome to bring ONE female friend along with you, if you'd like. I have found, however, that having a friend watching the session actually tends to make clients more nervous and self-conscious than they would be otherwise. If you do bring a friend, I just ask that they not disrupt the session in any way and that you focus your attention on the photographer during the entire session.
There no males are allowed in the room during shooting for any reason, including spouses and significant others.
How long is my session? Your session is somewhere around 60 minutes long. The first 10-15 minutes are set aside for you to settle in, to give us time to chat, go through your outfits, plan out our ideas for your shoot and for you to get changed into your first outfit. After we finish the shoot, you’ll have a few minutes to wrap up and get changed into street clothes.
What should I wear TO the shoot? Please wear loose fitting clothing that will not leave marks on your skin. Be mindful of the bra you wear as bras often leave red marks or indentations on your skin. If you do wear clothing that leaves marks, these will not be Photoshopped out without an extra charge.
Do you do nude photography? I do not shoot artistic nudes (with private bits showing) at this time. I am totally comfortable shooting nudes with private bits covered, though! We're thinking more Maxim than Playboy. =)
How sexy do I need to go? Only as sexy as you feel comfortable! For some women, that's extra sexy lingerie or "implied nudity" using a piece of black lace. For some, it's a tank top and boy shorts. For others, maybe it's a sexy dress. In any case, I'll NEVER pressure you for a level of sexiness or undress that's not right for you. I believe wholeheartedly that sexiness has nothing to do with how much skin is showing. While I'm comfortable shooting nude imagery, ALL PRIVATE BITS will (must!) be covered!
Will you airbrush/retouch my photos? Absolutely! Digital retouching is standard in all of my packages. Most retouching begins and ends with skin smoothing as that’s all most women need. Retouching does not mean I’ll be changing the basic shape of your body in a major way or making you look like someone you’re not. I don’t get rid of freckles and beauty marks (unless you request that I do) because that’s part of what makes you who you are. And you’re beautiful the way that you are! If you’d like more intensive retouching, I can do that for an additional fee. I have an album showing before and after retouching images, so during your consultation, you'll be able to see exactly the level of retouching that's standard for my clients.
I'm super nervous and don't know if I can be sexy in front of a camera. Help! No worries! Pretty much everyone’s nervous in front of the camera, especially when it’s such an intimate session. I’ve had my own boudoir photos done and, believe me, I was CRAZY nervous!! That said, there’s nothing really to be nervous about. By the time you come in for your session, we’ll have already had an in-person or phone consultation, so you can think of me as a friend and not a stranger with a camera. =) Plus, we’ll take a few minutes when you arrive to chat and let nerves dissipate.
Most women don’t automatically know what poses and expressions are sexy. That’s okay! I’ll help find the most flattering poses for you. I’ll help coax those sultry expressions out, even if you’re feeling silly or nervous. =) I'll get into the actual poses to show you and will pretty much move you around like a Barbie doll to get the most flattering angles for you!
Between now and your session, I recommend checking out magazines, lingerie catalogs and anywhere you might find inspiration for poses you might like to try. Also, try practicing expressions in the mirror to see which ones you like. It’s so easy for an expression we think might be sexy to actually look angry! That’s why I’m a firm believer in good music and lots of laughter during your session.
Please feel free to bring your iPod or mp3 player with a rockin’ playlist to your session. I love music! And how can you feel uncomfortable with your favorite songs playing?!
Will my images be posted on your blog/website/Facebook? Not unless you sign my model release allowing me to use your images for promotional purposes. If you do, you'll be able to hand select which images you feel comfortable sharing, so you’ll never be surprised by seeing an image anywhere that you weren’t expecting! A MODEL RELEASE IS NEVER REQUIRED FOR A PAID SESSION AND I WILL NEVER PRESSURE YOU TO SIGN ONE!! My clients' privacy is the super important to me.
Do I own the copyright for the images from my session? Leila Wylie retains ownership and copyright of all images, however clients will be granted the right to personal, non commercial use of the images and/or files that they purchase. Images may not be copied, sold, or published by the client without written agreement by Leila Wylie.
Is there a contract? Yes, for insurance purposes, all sessions must have a contract. I use an online contracting system, so your contract can be signed quickly and easily online.
How do I book my session? Booking your session is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

I’ll email you back with confirmation about your reserved session date, along with a link to your personalized session website portal. With the personalized website portal, you’ll be able to read and sign your contract as well as keep track of the session details.
That’s it! Easy peasy. =) When you come in for your session, please remember to bring your printed Groupon voucher or present your voucher on your smartphone. If you don’t have the voucher with you, your session will be forfeit, so it’s SUPER important!
Can I give you a call to book my shoot? I'm more than happy to answer any and all questions that you may have via the phone or email, but all shoots must be booked online. This keeps me organized, ensures that I have a written record of everything, and, most importantly, makes sure that I have enough time to give every single client the individual attention they deserve.
How soon can my session take place? Sessions may be scheduled for as soon as days after the purchase of your Groupon voucher. Please keep in mind that sessions are booked due to availability and I only offer a limited number of sessions per week so that I can give each client the personal attention they deserve. Sessions book up quickly, especially for weekend sessions, which are extremely limited and incur an extra charge. So be sure to book your session date as soon as possible and well in advance of any gift giving occasion.
I would like my photos to be a gift for my significant other. How far in advance should I book? I expect my session schedule to book up quickly, so please plan for your session to take place 8-10 weeks prior to your gift giving occasion.
When does my deal expire? Your deal expires 1 year after the purchase of your voucher. That means that all sessions must be booked and completed by that day. Please do not wait until the last minute as there will likely be plenty of ladies doing exactly that! I don't have any way to look up expiration dates.
What if I need to reschedule? You can reschedule your session for free 31 or more days before your session. Within 30 days, there is a $50 rescheduling fee. Within 14 days, there is a $100 rescheduling fee.
What if I'm late for my appointment? Again, as a mother, I understand that it's sometimes hard to get out of the door and get places on time! Keeping that in mind, the clock starts on your session at your schedule session time. So if you're 15 minutes later than your scheduled time for your 60 minute session, you'll receive a 45 minute session. 30 minutes late is a 30 minute session. So please make every effort to be on time so that you can get the most out of your session as possible!
How long after my session can I order prints? Same day ordering is available for almost all session dates!
How do I place my order? You will be able to place your order at your Studio Unveiling, which is at the studio after your session. We'll go through all of your images individually and I will show you all of the different product options. I'll help you every step of the way to help you get the products that suit your needs.
How many images from my session will I get to choose from? You will have 20+ images at view at your your Studio Unveiling from which you can choose. I shoot many more than that during your session, but after throwing away any with closed eyes, movement blur, etc, I keep only the best of the best for your viewing. If you'd like more images from which to choose, you can add additional clothing selections for just $50 each. Each clothing selection will add 10-15 minutes of shooting time and 5-10 images in your Unveiling gallery.
Am I required to place a minimum order or purchase anything in addition? No, absolutely not. But I feel that you'll love your images so much that you'll want more. =)
What if I want more than one image or a product like an album? You're more than welcome to purchase additional products and/or prints from your session. I'm sure that you will love so many of your images that you won't want to leave with just one high quality image.
What if I'd like more than 60 minutes and more clothing selections? I'm happy to upgrade your deal to better suit your needs. You may add additional clothing selections for $50 each. Each clothing selection will add an additional 10-15 minutes of shooting time and 5-10 images to your ordering gallery.
When and where can I pick up my order? Orders may be picked up by appointment. I will email you when your order is in and we can schedule a time for you to pick it up.
How soon will I be able to pick up my prints once I have place my order? Prints and most products will be ready to pick up within 4-6 weeks of placing your order. Certain products, such as albums, may require another 1-2 weeks before pickup. Please keep these time frames in mind when scheduling your session. Rush service may be available for an additional fee, if needed.
Can I purchase my session images? Absolutely! Chat with me to get a copy of my product guide with pricing information.
What forms of payment do you accept? I accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover), cash and checks. If paying by check, your order will be held until the check clears the bank. There is a $50 returned check fee if the check bounces. All orders must be paid in full before I will place the order with my vendors for your prints and products.
